    great brunch

perfect spot for park strolls and local landmarks

I loved how we were just a few steps away from charming spots like Nine Flags and the beautiful Banita Creek Park when exploring the area, making our stay even better. while the staff were super friendly and the brunch was just great, the rooms could use a refresh as they felt slightly outdated and lackluster compared to the lovely common areas.

    charming ambiance
    attentive staff
    stray hair
    lack of microwave
    carpeting concerns

Charming ambiance with retro decor sets a unique tone for this stay. The room was impeccably clean with a comfortable bed, though a stray hair in the bathroom was a surprise. Enjoyed a fantastic hamburger through room service that truly stood out. The attentive staff made the experience even more enjoyable, with a warm East Texas charm throughout.

    disappointing view

I had an amazing stay with great food options, especially the Shrimp and Grits! Loved the comfort and the vibe, though the view didn’t live up to expectations. I would definitely come back!

    charming, charming, charming

The ambiance was so inviting with retro decor and fresh touches. The pool area was my tranquil haven, perfect for dipping my feet and soaking up the sun. Room service was a good surprise-my lemon chicken dinner with garlic mash was to die for!

    great value
    good drinks

It was just a great match for a lightning stop in Nacogdoches with value for price. The Navan-rita at the bar was surprisingly good and only $5! Try to arrive early if there’s an event in town to avoid parking issues.

    delicious breakfast
    lively ambiance
    poor soundproofing

The location was fantastic for exploring the oldest town in Texas, with plenty of charming sites nearby. We especially loved the lively ambiance at the bar and enjoyed the delicious Eggs Fredonia for breakfast—definitely a must-try!

My kids wished for better soundproofing between rooms.

    accessibility concern

The Fredonia Hotel boasts a charming mid-century modern decor that is both refreshing and nostalgic. The lobby and common areas were beautifully maintained, providing accessible seating and a welcoming atmosphere that made me feel at home during my stay.

More shaded seating near the pool would be appreciated.
